This Century is the Century of the Biological Sciences. The advancements in the field of Molecular Biology and Genetics are revealing the secrets of the GOD. The Life Science Teachers of the schools have to play major roles to make the students aware of the recent findings and thus make them truly inclined towards Science in general. The integrated approach of the modern Science curriculum demands great innovative skills and hardworking on the part of the Teachers.

This Department is meant to train the future and in-service Life Science Teachers keeping in mind the challenges of the Cyber Age and according to the principles of Constructivism.

• Preparation of Teaching-Learning Aids with Low cost-No Cost Materials

• Preparation of Audio-Visual/Animated digital model classroom lectures on every lessons of the school curriculum.
• Conduct Action Researches in the neighboring schools on different aspects of teaching the subject.
• Establishment of a common platform where the stakeholders can share their views on the advancements of the field
